Can you still get lumineers or veneers if your teeth are.....?

Can you still get lumineers or veneers if your teeth are really bad, crooked, rotten, growing out of your gums, and teeth missing? I'm 18 years old and have never been to a dentist in my life.

No you can't get Lumineers or veneers right now. They are only cosmetic.

First you need to take care of all your dental health problems. This means fixing all the bad teeth.

Call and make an appointment for a dentist. Tell the person you talk to that you have never seen a dentist and have a lot of problems and want everything fixed so that you have a nice healthy smile.

Be prepared for a long expensive journey. 18 years of neglect can't be fixed overnight. The results will be worth the time and expense.

It probably will involve fillings, root canals, porcelain crowns and extractions of the teeth they can't save. The crowns are basically caps and look and feel like real teeth.

It might sound scary but dentistry these days doesn't hurt much. The Novocain shots do hurt a bit, but only for a few seconds.

Once your remaining teeth are healthy, you can get implants to replace any missing teeth and orthodontia to straighten your teeth.

When you are all through you will have a beautiful healthy smile. It will improve every aspect of your life.
