Help i have a bad rotten tooth and it hurts when i chew?
lots and lots of asprin
Reply:maybe get some anbesol i dont know
Reply:there are little kits you can buy that have wax to fill in the teeth, like if a filling came out you can fill with this stuff but will need to visit dentist.

call around your area to any dental college.

they usually charge very little or nothing for students to work on your teeth

and they are supervised

don't be scared
Reply:Your teeth are important. See the damn dentist.
Reply:well if it's rotten it needs to come out.

so you either go to the dentist and have it removed, probably less painfully than if you tried to pull it out on your own.

or you....pull it out on your own.

im not a dentist, though.
Reply:Pliers? NO! Go to a dentist who will work out a payment plan for pity sakes! You can't walk around with that, how are you going to eat? Find a nice dentist who will work with you. They are out there.
Reply:drink a bunch a jack daniels and pull it out. eeek!
Reply:no matter what it costs, you must get help with that rotten tooth. left unattended to it can cause much bigger problems! such as an abcess, or even a systemic infection that could cause heart problems. there must be some place that will work out a payment plan for you.
Reply:What else can you do? either suffer the pain or go to the dentist.

If you wait your tooth will abscess and you will need a root canal which is going to cost big bucks. Unfortunately you have only one option go to the dentist. Borrow the money or see if they will take payments.
Reply:It may cost you to go to the dentist to have this checked and fixed but it's better to be safe than sorry!

Going to the dentist now could be a better thing for you so you can avoid the costs of what else could happen due to neglecting it. Not having it checked can result in a lot worse and requiring more expensive care!

Is it loose?

On your other tooth you said a layer is coming off?!? It sounds like you need to be checked and to try to take much better care of your teeth and careful of what you eat. Stay away from hard things such as jaw breakers and lolipops/suckers.

I hope your pain goes away but get that checked. That is important.
Reply:Of course you already know you should see a dentist, but if you cannot you cannot.

You might then try a local anesthetic applied to the gum area, then it would at least be bearable.
Reply:you could numb it up with some ambesol, but eventually you will need to see a dentist, because poor oral health can lead to other bodily dysfunctions, such as heart disease and diabetes
Reply:You probably need a root canal -- that costs a lot more than 40 pounds.

When my tooth hurt, I put a cold can of beer on the side of my mouth. Or try some Ibuprofen and Ora-gel.
Reply:The only thing you can do is go to the dentist. Try to find someone to lone you the money. If it is hurting it is most likely abscessed which would require a root canal to fix the problem or extract the tooth. It sounds like you are letting your decay get too advanced and the only end result will be treatment or extraction. I hope you don't end up with dentures, it is not a nice outcome.

To help with the pain take 2-3 Ibuprophen (if you can take this medication) every 4 -6 hrs. You can take 4 tabs for a prescription dose level, but take it every 8 hours. Take with food. You have to keep this up for several days and that is a lot of medication. You really need an antibiotic and treatment. I'm sorry.
Reply:You might have fractured it partly.

I hate so say it, but you need to figure out how to afford to get it looked at and fixed if need be. If it's hurting now, it's probably only going to get worse, not better. And trust me, if it gets worse, especially if you end up with an abscess, you are just going to want someone to shoot you and put you out of your misery. Tooth pain can get very bad and it can do so quickly.
Reply:There's no avoiding the fact that you need dental attention. If you let this continue, it will only get worse and cost much more money.

Additionally, the health of your teeth and gums has a direct impact on your overall health. It seems weird, but for example, your heart can be jeopardized by neglecting your teeth.

Your dentist may be able to work with you to be able to pay--ask if they can put together a payment plan for you so you don't have to pay all at once. Just don't let this go on without getting help! Good luck!
