Rotten tooth, but completely to the gum I think. Can this be fixed?

Going to the dentist next week, but just wondered can this be fixed/or stopped from getting worse anyway!

What exactly would they do?

If there is enough of the tooth left to do a root canal then a crown can be put on, if not then the tooth would have to be removed.
Reply:Sure it can be fixed. Options are root canal, then a crown if there is anything left to attach the crown to. A dental implant is another possibility.
Reply:the dentist has to remove it
Reply:i suggest a vanier (Porclen tooth) ., pricy but soo worth it
