Most people only have 4 wisdom teeth; one in each corner of you upper and lower jaws. Unless you are something like 15 or 16 (or younger), the chances of your wisdom teeth coming in to replace any extracted teeth is very slim. If you are under 15 or 16, there is a CHANCE it will work out for you.

You can't decide where they go any more than you can choose where your toes are located.

However............. It is SOMETIMES possible to remove one molar, especially the lower first molar, and then remove the wisdom tooth from the same side and "implant" the wisdom tooth in the hole where the other tooth was removed. This can only be done by a dentist or oral surgeon and it's not something that you can do at home.
Reply:Don't be embarrassed! There are animals that do this....... Report It

Reply:Umm well, some people have 4 wisdom teeth, some people have more or less. I don't have any wisdom teeth on the bottom, but 2 on the top. If your wisdom teeth haven't come down yet, either you don't have any, or they will come down later on. If you have molars pulled out, the wisdom teeth may come down, but you only get a set of them, and you cannot grow more.
Reply:wisdom teeth are the last molars you get at the very back of your mouth. if you pull out teeth that are your permanent adult teeth..they will not be replaced by other teeth . massive holes can be filled with acrylic fillings and look nice and you may not have to have them pulled out. see a dentist about them.
Reply:Are the teeth in the back of your mouth? I had one molar that abcessed(sp) a few years ago. It was a 12 yr. molar. The dentist pulled it and my wisdom tooth grew in where it was. It was the last molar all the way back in my mouth. Good luck!
Reply:wouldn't count on it they may come in crooked and require removal as well spend a fortune and have root canals build ups and crowns done for your massive cavities and learn to use some better dental hygiene methods for the future .....
Reply:Such a dumb question.
Reply:Oh, wow! Wisdom teeth grow last...and they are at the very back. Most people have them removed...because it's hard to brush all the way back there. They rot. Once they are removed...as in all your four wisdom teeth gone- there will be no more!!!.....(again....4 wisdom teeth only!)...and they are at the back...some people have one missing...not present at all....everything else %26gt; not wisdom teeth.

I need to rest now.
Reply:you have 4 wisdon teeth very far back in your mouth. They stay way back there and don;t move to replace a lost tooth. They are usually "bad" teeth because they are hard to reach to brush.
Reply:Really only your dentist can give you the answer. X-Rays of your rotten teeth will show if the wisdom teeth are also rotten which they can be. It will also show the placement of the wisdom teeth you have and your dentist will have the knowledge to advise you on what will happen. That's why he gets the big bucks and we have to pay for his opinion. Look for a clinic that charges on a sliding scale based on your income. Good Luck.
Reply:HAHAHAHA the average person has only 4 wisdom teeth in the far back of their mouth that may or may not come out

I luckily was born with no wisdom teeth :)
